| In 1957
Marconi-Osram Valve Co. (Genalex) introduced the "King of Power
Tubes", the legendary Gold Lion KT88. This tube became the |
|
| heart and soul of
such classics as the Dynaco Mark III, McIntosh MC275, and Marshall Major.
Unfortunately, Genalex ceased tube production |
| in the early 1980s and the original Genalex
Gold Lion KT88 has become very expensive and hard to find. |
|
|
|
|
| But finally the
new reissue of that venerable Gold Lion KT-88 vacuum tube is here. This tube
has not just been reengineered, it has been reverse |
| engineered! The
original KT-88 has been disassembled, studied, with every possible nuance
evaluated to make the new version the best KT-88 ever produced. |
| This
tube has been recreated down to the finest detail with gold plated wire,
carbonized screen grids and tri-alloy clad plate structure for
exceptional |
| performance
and sound quality |
|
| The tubes are now
available in “matched” pairs. So if you are looking to replace those worn-
out output tubes in your amplifier, look no further than here. |
