pcX is pleased to now be offering the Danish-made DACT range of high quality audio parts....best known for their phenomenal line of audio attenuators.

The CT2 Audio Volume Controls are high quality stepped 24-position attenuators. They are designed for maximum sonic quality, accuracy (0.05 dB channel tracking) and reliability. Their series resistor networks consist of 23 non-inductive, low noise, SMD metal film resistors. The gold plated high precision rotary switch is manufactured in Switzerland.


TThe CT3 Input Selector Switches ane  compact (up to) 5-position audio input selector switches.  All contacts and connections are gold plated for long life, even in the most challenging environments.  The CT3 features the same basic construction and size as the DACT CT2 audio attenuators and CT4 balance controls.

The CT4 Audio Balance Controls are also based around the same Swiss-made rotary switch, with gold-plated contacts and connectors.  This is one of the few "premium" audiophile grade balance control attenuators ever offered in the DIY audio market. 
It has 3dB of attenuation per channel, in 0.25dB increments and uses the same high quality non-inductive SMD resistor network
that the CT2 volume attenuators use.

From Bill Perkins of Perkins Electro-Acoustic Research Laboratory!   pcX now has in stock, "new" updated PEARL TUBE COOLERS - without a doubt, one of the most useful accessories in tube audio. 

Use of these devices result in reduced tube microphony for noticeably improved sonics; and longer tube life (conservatively triple) due to the cooler "heatsinking' the heat away from the glass enveloped, via the thermally conductive copper-finned cooler material.

PEARL has converted (since October 2005) cooler manufacturing over to a new fin design, which provides over 60% more contact area with the tube's glass bulb/envelope. As such, the carbon fiber sleeve is no longer required for the cooler to work, as intended.    As we sell out of the older design (which include the sleeve) coolers, customers will receive new stock, without the carbon fiber sleeve.
