Bridge Rectifiers
HEXFRED technology utilize Fast Recovery Epitaxial Diodes - these high-speed soft-recovery Diodes (and Bridge Rectifiers) are the preferred device when building (or replacing) Diodes Bridges. Although their fast response time and high current capability are desirable, it is their soft recovery and lack of ringing and overshoot characteristics which make them vastly superior to other high speed diodes (which have much higher noise and distortion) for use in critical audio applications.
Replacing your existing Rectifying Diodes or Bridge Rectifiers with these will produce significant sonic improvements including increased dynamics, dramatically lower noise, and reduced grain and glare.
