pcX is pleased to be offering Duelund’s newest resistor line. DUELUND uses a high temperature epoxy, both as a cavity-fill, and to encapsulate the graphite element...this gives each part incredible mechanical stability, and incredible damping properties.

Designed by DUELUND Coherent Audio of Denmark for Loudspeaker Cross-Overs these 5 to 10 watt non-inductive (they are purely resistive, since they are a solid element and have no electrical characteristics of a coil) resistors utilizing graphite as the resistive element, and pure silver wire for the lead out material. A phenolic cylinder is used to protect the resitive element itself.
Duelund VSF Caps and Graphite Resistors are used by a growing number of high-end speaker manufacturers...such as Gryphon Audio Design and Peak Consult. Peak Consult was awarded Joint Loudspeaker of the Year 2006 in Stereophile magazine.
