PR9372 Audio “Metal Film” 1 Watt Resistor – 1%, 100ppm

This PR9372 metal film (Ni-Chrome thin film) resistor family (0.25, 0.5 and 1 watt types) has been specifically designed to support audio “signal path” circuit applications.
The PR9372 has special construction features that promote the desired no/low noise (thermal EMF) characteristics required in high-end audio application circuitry.
Additionally, the materials and craftsmanship used to produce the PR9372 Audio resistor allow for flat frequency response, low distortion, and excellent definition.
In fact, the exact “recipe” for this AUDIO-GRADE resistor was determined only after exhaustive listening tests were performed by a well-known high-end audio manufacturer who auditioned 10 different prototypes – all of which had a unique blend of materials and manufacturing techniques.
These premium resistors are manufactured in Mediapolis, Iowa USA by Precision Resistive Products Inc. and have been designed into many high end audio products around the world.
NOTE: While pcX’s nominal PRP offerings will be 1%, 100ppm toleranced parts, in some instances, stocked parts will have marked tolerances as tight as 0.1%. As well, all PRP stock is now RoHS compliant.
